RURAL VAN BUREN COUNTY, ArkâHensley man killed in Highway 65 crash
On September 29, 2025 at 12:51 p.m., Arkansas State Police responded to a fatal three-vehicle crash on U.S. Highway 65 in rural Van Buren County.
According to investigators, a 2025 Toyota traveling north was negotiating a right curve when it crossed the centerline, striking a 2018 Ram traveling south. The Ram rotated into oncoming traffic and struck a 1996 Peterbilt traveling north.
Fatality: Timothy McFarland, 61, of Hensley, the driver of the Ram, was pronounced dead at the scene.
No other fatalities were reported. The victimâs body was held at the Van Buren County Coronerâs Office. Weather was clear, and the roadway was dry.
