Arkansas wrongful death law after a fatal crash
Arkansasâs wrongful death statute allows families to seek compensation for funeral costs, loss of financial support, and companionship damages. Families generally have three years from the date of death to file a wrongful death lawsuit.
A related survival action may allow recovery for medical bills and any conscious pain suffered before death.
Why head-on collisions require careful review
Head-on crashes often involve allegations of lane departures, distracted driving, or impairment. Attorneys look at witness accounts, crash reconstructions, roadway markings, and vehicle data to determine what caused the collision and who bears responsibility. Prompt evidence preservation is crucial.
