Arkansas wrongful death law and pedestrian crashes
Arkansas law allows families to seek justice through the stateās wrongful death statute which permits claims for funeral costs, lost income, and loss of companionship. Families typically have three years from the date of death to file.
A survival action may also allow recovery for medical bills and conscious pain the victim experienced before death.
Investigating pedestrian fatalities on interstates
Interstate pedestrian crashes are complex, often involving questions of visibility, vehicle speed, driver attentiveness, and why the pedestrian was present on the roadway. Attorneys work to secure dash cam footage, witness statements, traffic camera evidence, and crash reconstruction data. Quick legal action ensures that evidence is preserved.
