Arkansas wrongful death law after intersection crashes
Arkansasâs wrongful death statute, Ark. Code Ann. § 16-62-102, allows family members or a personal representative to bring a claim for damages such as funeral expenses, lost support, and loss of companionship. Claims must usually be filed within three years from the date of death. A related survival action under Ark. Code Ann. § 16-62-101 can allow the estate to recover medical bills and pain and suffering the victim experienced before death.
Why intersection crashes require quick investigation
Failure-to-yield and red-light collisions often hinge on witness testimony, traffic signal timing, and vehicle black box data. Our team obtains police reports, scene photos, surveillance video, and eyewitness accounts to establish liability. Prompt action ensures critical evidence is preserved.
