Arkansas wrongful death law and trucking crashes
Arkansasās wrongful death statute allows families to file claims for funeral costs, loss of support, and loss of companionship. Families usually have three years from the date of death to file.
A companion survival action may also allow recovery of medical costs or pain experienced before death.
Why truck crashes demand immediate legal action
Tractor-trailer accidents require a close review of driver logs, trucking company safety practices, black box data, and traffic signal analysis. Evidence must be preserved quickly because trucking companies often move fast to limit liability.
